Re: Where to get cheap/free patterns?

Miso Vegan wrote:Thrift stores often have bins and bins of patterns.

Rly? I never noticed. Haven't been thrifting in awhile; I hope I remember whenever I do. I'll check out the JoAnn Fabrics site (since that doesn't involve getting up off my duff to do so).

thanks!

Re: Advice on crates (actually for a mouse, as you will see.

I didn't realize those replies were there; thanks & sorry not to acknowledge before! It seems that there is "pet-proof" screen material. I'm going to try to make a screen that will fit neatly over the present screen, so there is a second barrier that is stronger than the first. I'll ha...

Where to get cheap/free patterns?

I came across some really nice material that would look beautiful as a blouse. I've only recently learned how to hem, but a friend of mine told to me find a pattern & she'd help me make something. So how do I do that? (She has a sewing machine). I'm pretty sure I can't make the kind of blouse I ...

Re: Advice on crates (actually for a mouse, as you will see.

Dugan, what do you think of trying to construct something out of fencing material? It doesn't have to be sturdy enough to move anywhere. It is just to block the cat from reaching the mouse tank.

Advice on crates (actually for a mouse, as you will see...)

Bobcat-the-mouse needs to vacate his room so that we can sublet it to someone who pays rent. The remaining rooms with doors are the bathroom, which is apparently too humid (also, Bob is pretty musky, which could dissuade many potential renters); the sunroom, which is too cold; and our room. I am ada...

Re: Veganfreaks

I vaguely remember reading that it got dismantled awhile back but can't remember why. Then the Abolitionist Approach forum appeared and then I think closed. I think they're all blogging now.

Re: Okay or not?

I wonder if that's a regional thing. When you say that UPS is OK with it, do you know if that's company-wide?
