Checking the safety of your personal products

While watching Pink Ribbons, a documentary, we saw them flash up a website where you can check the safety of cosmetics and personal care products you use. I'd never heard of it, so I thought I'd share it:

We thought to check the toothpaste we've used for years and years - and we won't be anymore. Nationally recognized brand and type, given commendations by Consumer Reports - and yet it has an endocrine-disrupter and several bioaccumulating substances associated with organ toxicity. RnR's preferred shaving cream is even worse. I'm a little afraid to check our other stuff.

By the way, Pink Ribbons is well worth watching.

EWG is the group that puts out safe/unsafe fruits and veggie list called te Clean 15. Very rigorous.
