Vegan Ethos

...a real forum.

Hello, Canadians!

Hello, Canadians!

Postby Kat » Tue Feb 15, 2011 8:02 am

Woo! FInally, our own sub-forum.

My name is Kat, I'll be your friendly moderator.

I live in Surrey, British Columbia, but I was born and raised in the Niagara region of Ontario and went to college in Kingston, Ontario. I've been vegan since my 2003 trip to Farm Sanctuary where I got to meet some farm animals and learned that hurting them just isn't cool.

This Canada sub-forum will be for the Canada-specific aspects of veganism. So, general questions (ie "Does anyone know a good recipe for XYZ" or "What do you think of so-and-so's latest essay?" or whatever) will go in the appropriate main forums, and we'll use this sub-forum for threads like Canadian restaurant reviews, Canadian activism and social events, Canadian legislature, and so on.

I'd like to get a monthly thread started to post about upcoming activities.

If anyone has any suggestions or questions about the Canada sub-forum, ask right here or shoot me a PM.

Yes! Yes it is. Fries + mushroom gravy + daiya or follow-your-heart mozzarella-style cheeze = love.

I'm not sure. You'll have to make this for me so I can taste it and decide. *nods*

If you come up here, your poutine will be more authentic.

I hope it's still authentic with non-mushroom gravy, because ew. We call those disco fries 'round these parts.
