Not the cheeriest of books, but given recent events, I've been wanting to re-read "The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood.

That sounds like a good read, Stegan. I love warnings of dystopia themes.
Of which recent events do you refer?

Any zombie novel would be fine with me, including "The Vegan Revolution With Zombies" which I can forward as a word doc.

I'm guessing Stegan is referring to the recent legislation regarding abortion and funding for birth control.

I'm always up for a re-read of Atwood. I remembered your suggestion because I heard a piece with her on NPR today, oops, yesterday. I didn't catch the name of the show, I don't know how old it was, but it stretched to either side of the 20 minutes I listened while driving. She addressed some interesting topics in Year of the Flood and Oryx & Crake. I googled trying to find the piece. I haven't found it yet, unless it was a couple of years old.
