i'm looking into getting a netbook for school. i have a laptop now and i've taken it to class before but it's too bulky and the battery life is crap now. i'm specifically looking at this asus netbook (thank youuu tax return).

anyone else have a netbook? recommendations? rants or raves?

I have that one! Or at least a similar model. I really like it. It's light enough to carry in my bookbag every day, and it doesn't take up a lot of room. It's got more than enough computing power, and runs stuff like video surprisingly well. I've had mine for a year, year and a half, and haven't had a single problem with it. Highly recommended.

i have been lusting after the 11" macbook air ever since a good friend got one. it's so beautiful and tiny! it does the extra stuff that my iPad doesn't, but in a basically just-as-portable size. waaaaaant.
