So here I go, checking in after almost two years, with my snapshot of nutrients eaten today:

granola with soy milk and cranberries + hot tea (on the side)
coffee with creamer (2 big mugs)
toast with tomato, basil, mayo, and salt
fetuccini with pesto and diced tomato
tiny piece of chocolate
cold tea
1 pan-fried shiitake (snack while cooking dinner)
glass of white wine
lentil-veggie soup
raspberry ice-cream

eta: I just re-read my last post (from Oct 2011) and there are some striking similarities with what I had today... like soup, mushroom(s), tomato(es), an alcoholic beverage, coffee with creamer, oat-based breakfast food with cranberries, soy milk, and tea. I'm a creature of habit, I guess?!?

Y'all eat so well (just came over from the dinner thread as well as reading what's in this thread...). Today I ate a bowl of uppma, about two pounds of cherries*, two tiny hummus wraps, a yogurt, some chips and salsa, a carton of blueberries*, and about a half-pound of sugar snap peas*. And one Starbucks soy mocha.

This is why I don't post what I eat very often. Or ever.

*This is my new and improved version of road food. I had to drive to Truckee and back today, which is about three hours each way. So, instead of getting potato chips and soda, I stop at the supermarket and get a big bag of easy-to-eat fruit and veggies and just stuff myself as I drive. And listen to podcasts.

Yesterday:
4 steepings of gunpowder (a green tea), two of which were mixed with lemon wedges and ice for the road
Bean & rice burrito
Smoothie (almond milk, banana, carrot, walnuts, kale, mango, ginger, cinnamon, flax meal, BS molasses)
Fruit salad with coconut yogurt
Popcorn with olive oil & go veggie Parmesan
1 Liz Lovely chocolate chip cookie

yesterday:
pb toast w/fresh raspberries (this is my jam substitute in the summer), coffee
brown & wild rice w/broccoli, yum sauce, lemon juice & nooch, multigrain chips, cherries, yummy drink (this stevia drink mix stuff from tjs that tastes like crystal light)
tacos (chickpeas, brown rice, green onion, celery, broccoli, chard, green salsa) & tots, low calorie pink lemonade (also tjs also stevia) mixed half with club soda with vodka
a little tiny bit of chocolate walnut brownie coconut ice cream and one gf oreo like cookie

today:
2 pcs pb toast w/fresh raspberries & blackberries, coffee
leftover taco filling from last night, multigrain chips, cherries, yummy drink
dinner tbd. probably something with the rest of the brown rice. salad?
everyone's right and no one is sorry, that's the start and the end of the story

Today:
I tried cold steeping the gunpowder. It was good. still mixed with lemon wedges & ice for the road.
Same smoothie blend.
Another burrito.
(can you tell these are what i grab before heading out in the morning?)
cheezy rice casserole & broccoli
a couple of handfuls dry roasted peanuts (in the shell) (not once I ate them!)
Lotsa water.

Smoothie (same)
Popcorn with olive oil & gomashio
3 figs
Cheezish w/spinach and peas (also, we use milk instead of water to make the sauce)
Broiled 'fu (V-con style)
